Product information
Golden Oak
A warm wheat-gold oak with a fine, even grain that brings a sunny feel to kitchens, dining rooms and north-facing rooms.
Premium Design herringbone uses a contemporary 107 x 534mm block, longer and wider than a traditional parquet block, so the zigzag reads clearly even in larger rooms. It comes in six oak colours, from creamy Latte and Classic Oak to warm Golden, Chelsea and Old English Oak, and the soft greige of Norfolk Oak.
Each block has an embossed grain and bevelled edges, and because it's a 2.5mm glue-down LVT you get a proper parquet pattern that's waterproof, warm underfoot and suitable for underfloor heating. Chelsea and Norfolk Oak herringbone is only made in this glue-down range, not as a click floor.

Premium Design herringbone is a glue-down floor and should be fitted by a professional to BS8203 using Luvanto Universal or High Temperature Adhesive.
Before you start
- The subfloor must be smooth, clean, dry (below 75% RH) and flat to within 3mm over 2m, which usually means primer and a smoothing compound; timber floors are overlaid with plywood first.
- Unpack the flooring and stack it flat in the room for 48 hours at 18 to 21°C, or 72 hours if it has been stored somewhere cold.
- Underfloor heating should be off for 48 hours before, during and after fitting.
- Herringbone is set out from a centre line, so allow time for your fitter to plan the layout.
- Delivered on a pallet Flooring is heavy, so it comes palletised to the kerbside. You’ll need to move it from the roadside into the property.
- We confirm the day Deliveries run Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. We’ll confirm your date once the order is processed. We can’t offer timed slots.
- Check before you sign Someone needs to be in to sign for it. Look over the packs first and tell us within 24 hours if anything is damaged.
- Book your fitter afterwards Wait until your flooring has arrived before booking a fitter. We can’t cover fitter costs if a delivery is held up.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fit it myself?
Luvanto recommends professional installation for its glue-down ranges, and the warranty requires the floor to be laid by a fitter with at least an NVQ Level 2 in flooring, to BS8203, using Luvanto adhesive. If you'd like to fit a floor yourself, the Click Plus ranges are designed for that.
How many packs do I need?
Each pack covers 2.28m² (40 blocks). Measure the room in square metres, add around 10% for cuts, a bit more for herringbone, divide by the pack coverage and round up.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes. The heating must keep the temperature at the adhesive below 27°C and be commissioned before fitting. Once the floor is down, bring the heating back up gradually over at least seven days.
Can I use it in a kitchen or bathroom?
Yes, it's 100% waterproof and has an R10 slip rating. Luvanto says it shouldn't be fitted outdoors or anywhere that's continuously wet, such as inside a shower.
What does the Lifetime warranty cover?
Luvanto covers manufacturing defects and wear-through of the pattern in normal use for 40 years in a home and 10 years in commercial use, with the contribution reducing over time. It relies on professional fitting with Luvanto adhesive and cleaning with the Luvanto Floor Care Kit.
