Product information

Luvanto High Temperature Adhesive is a high-performance wet-set adhesive made for the harder jobs: floors over underfloor heating and areas that get direct sunlight. It's approved for Luvanto dryback LVT and is covered by the Luvanto warranty.

It has a strong initial grab and a very long working time, which helps on larger rooms and pattern floors such as herringbone, and it sets to a high strength with good tolerance to moisture. It's non-flammable, solvent-free, odourless and EC1+ rated for low VOC emissions, and suitable for high-footfall areas and castor-wheel traffic.

Frequently asked questions

How much adhesive do I need?

A 6kg tub covers about 22 to 26m² and a 12kg tub about 44 to 53m² with an A2 notched trowel. Allow a margin for porous or uneven subfloors.

Can it be used pressure-sensitive?

No, it's a wet-set adhesive. If you need a pressure-sensitive bond or want to glue down an acoustic underlay, choose Luvanto Universal Adhesive.

Is it suitable for conservatories?

It's designed for areas of direct sunlight. Luvanto's fitting guide says that where the floor surface will exceed 27°C an epoxy adhesive is needed instead, so check the room with your fitter.

How long does it keep?

Shelf life is 12 months, so it's best bought close to when your fitter needs it.
