Product Description

Versafloor 18mm is a cement particle board, designed to add mass to floors in direct to joist applications.

The product is intended to be used as part of an acoustic flooring system, in order to achieve Part E Building Regs or a superior performance gain.

Not only does Versafloor 18mm perform well for airborne reduction and impact when used as a system, it also achieves a high resistance to fire too.

This product achieves a 53dB airborne rating and a 48.5dB impact rating. This is not what the product achieves in isolation but is how it performed when tested as part of an acoustic system.

Unfortunately as all soundproofing products are tested on varying build ups, depending on the application, you can’t use ratings as a method to determine how products compare. Please contact us if you would like technical assistance with regard to this.
