Product information
New Forest Oak
A warm honey-amber oak with lively grain and dark knots, a traditional, welcoming colour for family rooms.
Craftsman Dryback planks are a 2mm glue-down LVT in a generous 187 x 1227mm board, new to the Craftsman range for 2026. They come in six oak colours, from cool grey Platinum Oak and pale Coastal Oak through warm New Forest, Fireside and Sherwood Oak to dark, smoky Blackthorn Oak.
Being glued down, the planks give you full control over the layout, and the same six colours are made in dryback herringbone, so you can combine the two. The planks are soft, warm and quiet underfoot, with a deep embossed 0.3mm wear layer for heavy foot traffic, micro-bevelled edges and anti-microbial protection.

Craftsman Dryback is a glue-down floor, so it’s best fitted by a professional to BS8203.
Before you start
- The subfloor must be smooth, clean, dry (below 75% RH) and flat to within 3mm over 2m, which usually means primer and a smoothing compound.
- Acclimatise the packs flat in the room for 48 hours at 18 to 21°C, or 72 hours if they’ve been stored cold, and keep underfloor heating off for 48 hours before, during and after fitting.
- Bond it with an LVT adhesive suitable for dryback flooring, such as Luvanto Universal Adhesive.
- Delivered on a pallet Flooring is heavy, so it comes palletised to the kerbside. You’ll need to move it from the roadside into the property.
- We confirm the day Deliveries run Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. We’ll confirm your date once the order is processed. We can’t offer timed slots.
- Check before you sign Someone needs to be in to sign for it. Look over the packs first and tell us within 24 hours if anything is damaged.
- Book your fitter afterwards Wait until your flooring has arrived before booking a fitter. We can’t cover fitter costs if a delivery is held up.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fit it myself?
Glue-down LVT needs a properly prepared, smoothed subfloor and careful use of adhesive, so we recommend a professional fitter. For DIY, Craftsman SPC Click comes in the same six colours.
How many packs do I need?
Each pack covers 4.59m² (20 planks). Measure the room in square metres, add around 10% for cuts, divide by 4.59 and round up.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, up to a maximum of 27°C. Switch the heating off 48 hours before, during and for 48 hours after fitting, then raise it gradually over at least seven days.
Can I use it in a kitchen or bathroom?
Yes, it's 100% water resistant with anti-microbial protection. It isn't suitable for showers, wet rooms or anywhere that's regularly wet.
What warranty does Craftsman have?
The manufacturer gives 20 years for domestic use and 10 years for commercial use, covering manufacturing defects and wear-through of the pattern. Cover reduces year by year, and the warranty doesn't transfer if you sell the property.
