Product information
Pearl Oak
A pale grey oak with a subtle warm, slightly pinkish tone and a fine straight grain, softer than a typical cool grey.
This is Luvanto's traditional herringbone: small 76.2 x 304.8mm blocks that recreate the scale of classic parquet found in period homes. The tighter pattern looks especially good in hallways, dining rooms and smaller spaces.
There are eight colours, including pale Pearl Oak and Washed Grey Oak, warm Country, Natural and Fairfield Oak, rich Priory and Cognac Oak, and moody Smoked Charcoal. Each block is a 2.5mm dryback LVT with an embossed grain and bevelled edges, so you get the look of a real parquet floor that's waterproof and needs no sanding or sealing.

Traditional herringbone is a glue-down floor and should be fitted by a professional to BS8203 using Luvanto Universal or High Temperature Adhesive.
Before you start
- The subfloor must be smooth, clean, dry (below 75% RH) and flat to within 3mm over 2m, which usually means primer and a smoothing compound; timber floors are overlaid with plywood first.
- Unpack the flooring and stack it flat in the room for 48 hours at 18 to 21°C, or 72 hours if it has been stored somewhere cold.
- Underfloor heating should be off for 48 hours before, during and after fitting.
- With 100 small blocks per pack, fitting takes longer than a plank floor, so plan for that with your fitter.
- Delivered on a pallet Flooring is heavy, so it comes palletised to the kerbside. You’ll need to move it from the roadside into the property.
- We confirm the day Deliveries run Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. We’ll confirm your date once the order is processed. We can’t offer timed slots.
- Check before you sign Someone needs to be in to sign for it. Look over the packs first and tell us within 24 hours if anything is damaged.
- Book your fitter afterwards Wait until your flooring has arrived before booking a fitter. We can’t cover fitter costs if a delivery is held up.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between traditional and contemporary herringbone?
Traditional blocks are 76.2 x 304.8mm, the classic parquet size, giving a tighter pattern. Contemporary blocks are 107 x 534mm, so the zigzag is bolder and there are fewer joints.
How many packs do I need?
Each pack covers 2.32m² (100 blocks). Measure the room in square metres, add around 10% for cuts, a bit more for herringbone, divide by the pack coverage and round up.
Can I fit it myself?
Luvanto recommends professional installation for its glue-down ranges, and the warranty requires the floor to be laid by a fitter with at least an NVQ Level 2 in flooring, to BS8203, using Luvanto adhesive. If you'd like to fit a floor yourself, the Click Plus ranges are designed for that.
Is it suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes. The heating must keep the temperature at the adhesive below 27°C and be commissioned before fitting. Once the floor is down, bring the heating back up gradually over at least seven days.
Can I use it in a kitchen or bathroom?
Yes, it's 100% waterproof and has an R10 slip rating. Luvanto says it shouldn't be fitted outdoors or anywhere that's continuously wet, such as inside a shower.
