Product Description

Acoustilay 15 is a sound reduction mat, designed for use on floors for superior noise control. The mats offer a substantial reduction of impact and airborne noise and when used in conjunction with a full build up, comply with Part E of UK Building Regs.

Acoustilay 15 is compiled from two layers of dense rubber barrier mat, with an open cell foam in the middle.

This product has an Impact Noise Rating of 48dB and an Airborne Noise Rating of 57dB, provided to us by the Manufacturer.

This figure isn’t a measure of the reduction that the product gives, but is the figure that you would get following a soundproofing test and is for the floor as a whole, not this product in isolation. Please see the product specification for more details on how this was achieved.

By giving this figure it allows manufacturers to inform people like contractors, builders and architects whether or not they will pass Sound Regulations by using this product without the need to carry out a sound test.

Deliveries are palletised and heavy, therefore our delivery services are to kerb-side only – you will be responsible for moving the goods from the roadside to the property.
